Writing: Inspiring people to action
While I sometimes think my best audience is the city editor sitting several feet away, I did inspire a reader to write a guest editorial after reading a Veterans tab.
Opinion: Touched by the news included in veterans tribute
"... Two of the articles in the tribute regarding the thanks to and care of our veterans by individuals like Allen Erickson Sr., his wife and many others at Northwest Montana Veterans Food Pantry, other organizations and individuals, are very insightful. ...
Regarding one article in the tribute by Stephanie Daugherty,; please if you haven’t read it, check it out. The following are quotes from her article headlined “Stand downs and the Veterans Pantry,” bringing out issues worth doing something about. ...
There is much more to this article and I beg you, if you haven’t read it, please go on Daily Inter Lake website or find a paper and read it. "

Impunity: The gift that keeps on giving
Wenatchee World, guest editorial, June 28, 2018
Dear Stephanie,
I can not tell you how refreshing your guest opinion was in Thursday 6/28’s paper was.
That is a hard hitting editorial that provides addition information/facts to support an educated opinion. In fact, I have not enjoyed another recent political editorial in recent years as much as I enjoyed that. ...
Keep up the great work.
